NOTES:

• This remote key will not work if you have a service grey key;
• To check this is the correct car key, you can open your existing key case cover and check the number stamped on the remote. The part number should be B41TA;
• This key is incompatible with the remote key case cover with "B41TH" stamped on the remote part number;
• This key is incompatible with the remote key with "G" stamped on the key blade near the case;
• The key will need to be cut and programmed by either a Locksmith or programmed yourself by following the instructions listed;
• For programming, you must have one original working remote key at least;

Before a new key is programmed:  the new car key will need to be cut by a Locksmith (also you can program by either a Locksmith or yourself by following the instructions listed.) Car Key Programming instructions are presented below. Programming INSTRUCTIONS include two stages: 1) “How to program the remote control” and 2) How to program the car key to start (Programming the transponder chip)”

INSTRUCTIONS: 

1) How to program the remote control – Do it yourself:

Preparatory steps: With the key out of the ignition sit in the driver's seat with the driver's door opened.

• 1. Within 5 seconds: Insert and remove the key from the ignition switch twice (in, out, in, out)
• 2. Within 40 seconds: Close and open the driver’s door twice. Insert and remove the key from the ignition switch (in, out)
• 3. Within 40 seconds: Close and open the driver’s door twice. Insert the key into the ignition switch and close the driver’s door
• 4. Within 40 seconds: Switch ignition ON and OFF once
• 5. Remove the key from the ignition switch. The system should now lock and unlock the vehicle once
• 6. Within 45 seconds. Press and hold the LOCK and UNLOCK button simultaneously for 1.5 seconds
• 7. Within 3 seconds: Press and release LOCK or UNLOCK button
• 8. The system should now lock and unlock the vehicle once to confirm programming, and twice to indicate programming has failed
• 9. Within 45 seconds: Repeat steps 6-7 to program the remaining remote transmitters
• 10. Open the driver’s door to exit programming mode

NOTE: A maximum of 4 key remote transmitters can be programmed.

To delete all programmed remotes: at Step 4, switch the ignition ON and OFF five times, and the locks will cycle five times. Switch the ignition ON and OFF. Open and close the driver's door.

2) How to program your car key to start  (Programming the transponder chip) – do it yourself:

• 1. Put the original master key in and out of the ignition 5 times. Finish with the key in the ignition
• 2. Open and close the driver's door 6 times
• 3. Remove the original key from the ignition, and insert the new key
• 4. Leave the new key in the ignition for 60 seconds (or till the Security light goes out on the dashboard)
• 5. After the security light stops flashing you can start the car with the new key
• 6. Remove the new key from the ignition
• 7. Open and close the door
