NOTES:

• To check this is the correct key for your car you can pop open your existing key case cover and check the number stamped on the remote. Part number should be B41TA. This key is not compatible with the remote key case cover which has "B41TH" stamped on the remote part number. This key is not compatible with the remote key which has "G" stamped on the key blade near the case.
• The key will need to be cut and programmed by either a Locksmith or programmed yourself by following the instructions listed
• This remote key will not work if you have a service grey key, for programming, you must have one original working remote key at least

INSTRUCTIONS: 

1) How to program the remote control – Do it yourself:

Preparatory steps

With key out of the ignition sit in driver seat with driver door opened.

• 1. Within 5 seconds: Insert and remove the key from the ignition switch twice (in, out, in, out)
• 2. Within 40 seconds: Close and open driver’s door twice. Insert and remove the key from the ignition switch (in, out)
• 3. Within 40 seconds: Close and open driver’s door twice. Insert the key into the ignition switch and close the driver’s door
• 4. Within 40 seconds: Switch ignition ON and OFF once
• 5. Remove the key from ignition switch. System should now lock and unlock vehicle once
• 6. Within 45 seconds. Press and hold LOCK and UNLOCK button simultaneously for 1.5 seconds
• 7. Within 3 seconds: Press and release LOCK or UNLOCK button
• 8. System should now lock and unlock vehicle once to confirm programming, twice to indicate programming has failed
• 9. Within 45 seconds: Repeat steps 6-7 to program remaining remote transmitters
• 10. Open driver’s door to exit programming mode

NOTE: A maximum of 4 key remote transmitter can be programmed.

To delete all programmed remotes: at Step 4, switch the ignition ON and OFF five times, locks will cycle five times. Switch the ignition ON and OFF. Open and close the driver's door.

2) How to program your car key to start  (Programming the transponder chip) – do it yourself:

• 1. Put the original master key in and out of the ignition 5 times. Finish with the key in the ignition
• 2. Open and close the driver's door 6 times
• 3. Remove original key from the ignition, insert the new key
• 4. Leave the new key in the ignition for 60 seconds (or till the Security light goes out on the dashboard)
• 5. After the security light stops flashing you can start the car with the new key
• 6. Remove the new key from the ignition
• 7. Open and close the door
